Privacy Policy

This site has no user accounts, no login, no newsletter signup and no checkout. We do not ask you for your name, email address or payment details, and we have no database of visitors.

If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it. Nothing more.

We run no analytics of our own. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no heat-mapping and no advertising or retargeting pixel on this site, and we do not build a profile of you or follow you across the web.

That is not the same as saying no third party ever sees you here. The Stay22 booking maps described below are loaded from Stay22 and can set their own cookies once they appear. What they collect is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

If we add analytics of our own later, this section will name the provider, say what it collects and link to its privacy policy — before it goes live, not after.

Stay22 — hotel pages carry a booking button that hands you to Stay22, and the homepage, the category pages and every hotel page embed a Stay22 price-comparison map in an iframe. The map is third-party content: once it loads it talks to Stay22 directly, may set its own cookies, and receives your IP address and the page you are viewing, as any embedded frame does. It carries our affiliate ID so a resulting booking is attributed to us. Stay22's own privacy policy governs what they do with it. The map is loaded lazily, so if you never scroll it into view it is never requested at all.

Booking.com — when you click a booking link you leave this site and Booking.com's own privacy policy applies. Our affiliate ID is passed so the referral can be attributed; no personal data of yours is transmitted by us.

Google Maps — hotel pages carry a "Directions" link to Google Maps. It is an ordinary link, not an embed: nothing is requested from Google, and no cookie of theirs is set, unless you click it and leave this site.

Firebase Hosting — our host processes standard server request logs, including IP addresses, for security and delivery.

We set no cookies of our own — no session cookie, no preference cookie, nothing we read back.

Third parties embedded in these pages can set their own. In practice that means one thing: the Stay22 booking map, once it has loaded. It is the only embed on this site. Following a link out — to Stay22, to Booking.com, or to Google Maps for directions — puts you on their site under their terms.

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and objection. Since we hold almost no personal data, most requests are quick to satisfy. Write to hello@pyramidshotels.com.

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
